SARA - Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac - Mash Master Remix https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwGMZGYy7X8

SARA : Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks wrote the song Sara for one of her dearest friends, Sara Recor. Sara was a singer/model who wrote songs with Stevie. When they performed together, they called themselves the Twang Sisters. She even traveled with Fleetwood Mac on tour sometimes.

The song is a commentary on the famously tangled and messy relationships and love affairs in the band. For example, Stevie's boyfriend at the time, Mick Fleetwood, left her for Sara. Stevie never blamed Sara. In fact, Stevie attended the pair's wedding a few years later. Mick and Sara's marriage didn't last but the song did. It was first released released in an edited four minute version. It was a Fleetwood Mac single from the 1979 Tusk double LP. It was the 12th album by the British/American rock band. The album version of the song runs more than six minutes. Then it later appeared on 1988 Fleetwood Mac Greatest Hits compilation.
